xray - a unix packet sniffer

What is 'xray'?

An open-source, free, ethernet-only packet capture, decoding, and re-transmission program for unix operating systems. The goal is for it to eventually support the importation of capture files in as many formats as possible, to support as many unix varients as possible, and as many media types as possible. It would also be nice to see some nice integrated test utilites as well, like packet statistics, high-speed packet generator, network performance tester, etc..

Project Status:

This is still very BETA and barely useful. Specifically, it barely works on Linux, right now.
