Amateur Radio License Exams

(These practice exams display the real question pool used by the FCC's radio licensing exams. The real tests are administered by volunteer examiners that will provide you with a printed question booklet that shows each question's multiple-choice answers in a random order, and a separate answer sheet upon which your answers are marked with a pencil.)

A passing score is at least 35 out of 50 questions marked correctly, or 70%.

• Extra Class Element 4 Effective 7/01/08-6/30/12

Commercial Radio License Exams

The FCC's commercial maritime/international aviation licenses each require particular exam elements.

A passing score is at least 75%.

• Commercial Element 3 (New version as of June, 2009)
• Commercial Element 7 (as of July, 2009)
